Breath Alcohol Test
The Breath Alcohol Test is a fast, non-invasive method used to measure the concentration of alcohol in a person's breath, which reflects their current level of intoxication. Commonly administered using a certified breathalyzer device, this test provides immediate results and is widely used in workplace settings, law enforcement, and DOT-regulated industries.
It's particularly effective for detecting recent alcohol consumption and ensuring employees are not under the influence during safety-sensitive duties. This method is often preferred for its speed, accuracy, and ability to deliver real-time data on a person’s impairment level.

Urine Alcohol Test
The Urine Alcohol Test is designed to detect the presence of alcohol and its metabolites—such as ethyl glucuronide (ETG) or ethyl sulfate (ETS)—in a urine sample. Unlike breath tests that detect current intoxication, this method identifies alcohol use that occurred within the past 12 to 48 hours, depending on various factors such as metabolism and volume consumed.
It’s commonly used for monitoring abstinence, legal or court-related testing, workplace policies, and rehabilitation programs. Urine testing provides a longer detection window, making it a valuable tool in determining recent alcohol use even after the effects have worn off.
Oral/Saliva Alcohol Test
The Oral Fluid/Saliva Alcohol Test is a convenient and minimally invasive method that detects the presence of alcohol in a person’s saliva. It’s ideal for on-site or mobile testing and provides rapid results, usually within minutes.
This test is effective at identifying very recent alcohol use, typically within the past few hours, and is often used in workplace safety checks, probation settings, and post-incident investigations.
Since the collection process is simple and doesn’t require a restroom or lab equipment, oral testing is a reliable option for fast screening in the field or at your location.
